Keeping Up with Kahla

I would like to start this post off by saying I didn’t even know that Target’s Opalhouse collection was launching before I stumbled upon it at our local Super Target. I was so not prepared for what I was about to endure when Ben and I went grocery shopping there last weekend. As we turned the corner aisle to visit the home section before picking up groceries, my eyes were met with pops of pink, rattan style chairs, velvet cushions, tassels, and macramé. I knew right then that I NEEDED IT ALL.

As a new homeowner I was going completely bonkers trying to validate buying every single item so that we could decorate our new place. As a budget friendly husband, Ben almost had a heart attack.

Opalhouse is essentially Anthropologie for Target. It has all of the gorgeous, bohemian, eclectic touches but it has a way sweeter price point. Sadly, I didn’t buy anything from the collection the day we saw it at Target (budget, and affording groceries – ya know). Ben seems to think we should make our first mortgage payment before we start going too crazy with home purchases. Smart guy, that’s why I married him.

To hold myself over until that first mortgage payment goes through, I’ve decided to round up my picks from the Opalhouse collection on Keeping Up with Kahla today. Judging by the responses I’ve seen on Instagram, it sounds like you all already love it as much as I do. No surprise there. The Opalhouse collection is just gorgeous. You’ll likely want one of everything.
