Schitt’s Creek is one of the best shows I have ever watched.
If I had a dollar for every time someone told me that I reminded them of Alexis Rose from Schitt’s Creek, I’d be able to buy the town of Schitt’s Creek itself. I’m always told that it’s all in the mannerisms. Since I absolutely love Alexis from the show, I always take it as a compliment.
Ben and I were at my mom’s house a week before the big spooky holiday and my mom had the bright idea: “you guys should be David and Alexis Rose for Halloween.” I couldn’t believe being Alexis for Halloween had never dawned on me. Plus she had the whole A Little Bit Alexis performance, which I was sure would be great for content purposes. I loved that journey for me, so obviously I was completely in.

I love David Rose, but I did have Ben switch his costume to Ted Mullens (Alexis’ veterinarian boyfriend). Besides, maybe next year we can try for David and Stevie?

I knew for a fact my Alexis Rose Halloween costume inspiration was going to come from her A Little Bit Alexis performance. How could it not? To my surprise, this costume was pretty simple to put together. I was able to Amazon everything I needed and I already had the boots.
