This past weekend was full of all of the best things – a Sam Hunt concert with friends, bridesmaid dress shopping, and brunch in Tampa with some blogging gals. While I can appreciate a weekend without plans, I love weekends that are full of things that get me out of the house and away from feeling like I have to be doing something productive. It reminds me that it’s OK to put work away for a little while and enjoy quality time doing things I enjoy doing. This is something I’ve been trying to work on this year.
Today on Keeping Up with Kahla I’m sharing my third and final look with Diamonds Direct in St. Pete. The pieces we styled in this shoot were just BEAUTIFUL. They sparkled so much that they rivaled my engagement ring – and that thing sparkles all the time. Don’t get me wrong. The previous jewelry pieces that I wore with DD here and here were stunning too, but I think the ones featured in this post are the ones you save to wear during one of those so called “special occasions”. And for good reason.
I felt very much like Andie Anderson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days frosting myself with this gorgeous necklace. It features multiple diamonds and is part of Diamonds Direct’s very own Sunbright Collection. The necklace is very dainty, delicate, and wow does it give off some serious sparkle. There’s no denying that it is a statement piece in its own right.
I really loved the earrings that we styled as well. These pretties feature Diamonds Direct’s very own Sunshine Cut diamond. This is a diamond that owner Gary Sanchez developed with a whopping 97 facets (typically diamonds have 57). It’s a Diamonds Direct original so you won’t find these anywhere else. When worn with this necklace, you are a sparkling machine.
This dress from Nordstrom has me wondering why it wasn’t available last year during all of my bride events. The lace detailing gives it such a classy feel, but the side cut-outs keep it young, fun, and trendy. I could see this being perfect for any bride to be, but since I’m a bride that has been I’ll be saving it for fancy date nights and other dressy occasions. It’s unfortunately sold out online, so I’ll be linking some other cute white dresses below (some are on saaaaale!).
Don’t forget that Diamonds Direct has its biggest sale of the year coming on July 20, so mark your calendars! You won’t want to miss it. Find out more information about this sale here.
