We survived another Monday, folks! With things like eggmojis, and Easter brunch – the struggle was TOO real to turn off the weekend switch and gear up for the week ahead. This weekend we…
…kicked it off by going to a Tampa Bay Lightning home game against the New York Islanders. Bolts scored 7 goals. 7 GOALS PEOPLE. That’s never happened out of all (OK, few) of the hockey games that I’ve been to. They won the game and celebrations were in order – so we took the party up to the Bud Light Party Deck. It was another first for me, and I definitely want to go back.
…put our deposit down for the tables and chairs for the wedding. Guests will have a place to sit and eat now – phew. If you have been following any of my wedding posts, then you know that the theme of our wedding is very rustic-boho chic. The chair and table vendor that we’ve been in contact with invited us out on Saturday to see their products in person. Let me just tell you, I couldn’t give her our deposit quick enough. The farm tables they showed us in the dark mahogany wood were just gorgeous. I can’t wait to have them in November to make my Wedding Bells Pinterest board come to life.
…styled my new favorite black lace-up heels from good ole Tarjay for a blog post this week. If you follow me on Snapchat (kahlas), then you got a sneak peak of these babies last week. With the major shoe sale that Target had going on (BOGO 50% off), I couldn’t resist because PSA: THESE WERE UNDER $20.
…made emoji eggs, or as I like to call them: eggmojis for Easter! They turned out SO cute. I was all heart eyes for ’em. Peep the cuteness:
…brunched. Hard. With family over at my uncle’s house for Easter. Our contribution? This maple bacon pie. It was a Pinterest win. We made a second veggie style one as well.
…watched Cloverfield. I had never seen it before, and everyone around me wants to see the newest one. We had a movie night with our friend Stephanie and my sister to watch the first one in all of its monstrous-alien-taking-over-New-York glory. Not going to lie, I kind of loved it. I’m excited to see the new one in theaters – hopefully this coming weekend.
How was your weekend?
