Happy Black Friday friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with food, friends, and family. While you’re still nursing your turkey hangover, I wanted to share one of my latest looks with you.
This dark grey sweater from Brandy Melville has been a longtime favorite. The varsity stripes give it that classic preppy touch, but at the same time it stays true to comfort. I’ve worn it to work, for play, and on comfy nights in when going out is the last thing I want to do.
Grey has become such a go-to color for me, mostly because it pairs so well with a variety of things. The color of this sweater contrasted so well with my white distressed skinnies. Let’s get real for a second: when it comes to white pants, the struggle is SO real. Some pairs are too thin and see through, while others just don’t seem to flatter at all. That’s why it’s important that when you find a good pair of white denim, that you never let them go. I scored this pair during a Gap Factory sale some months ago. Unfortunately, they’re no longer available online – and now I’m stuck wishing that I scooped up some backup pairs, ya know just in case my clumsy self stains them to a point of no return. Let’s just hope that doesn’t happen, and that this pair holds on to its crisp, white color as long as it can.
You guys know my girl Avery. I’ve posted about her SO many times – and now I’m happy to finally announce that she is on mega-sale. This black crossbody was one of my bag scores during the NSale, and I’m so happy that it was. This bag has seen house parties, date nights, and office hours. I love the edginess of the chain strap and long tassels. Avery also comes in this gorgeous Putty color, as well as Bordeaux.
I’m also loving my double bar ring from FASHIONABLE. My friend Haley recommended this company to me and I cannot get enough. They work to employ women that live in poverty. Their brand ranges from leather goods to jewelry. You should check them out. They’re currently offering 20% off your purchase with code HOLLYJOLLY and free shipping.
