V-Day Gift Guide: For Him

1 || 2 || 3 || 4 || 5 || 6 || 7
I always go back and forth between buying Ben a gift for Valentine’s Day or channeling my crafty side to DIY him one. I’ve done both in the past and I’ve found there’s no wrong way to go. The struggle with the “buying him a gift” route is that if you ever ask a guy what they want, the answer is usually “nothing”, “I can’t think of anything”, or some combo of those two.
After almost 4 years together with Ben, I’ve learned to listen to him when he matter-of-factly mentions things that he wants/needs. I’ll jot down the ideas in my iPhone’s “Notes” app so I have it handy when it comes to holidays like Valentine’s Day or even his birthday. This method is almost fail proof. ALMOST. Unless of course I make the mistake of buying him everything he wanted from that list for Christmas. Oops.

This V-Day gift guide is full of things your guy will love and can use, so it’s a mayj win/win.
One of my favorites on the list is the docking station (#6). Ben is ALWAYS always always looking for a place to put his keys, wallet, and sunglasses. Somehow they always end up on the kitchen counter or our dining area table – and TBH it drives my type-A side crazy. With this dock, these loose items would finally have a home. It comes in a variety of colors, and you can have it engraved with different options including your guys’ initials or a date of your choosing.
The stamped penny is another favorite. This was one of the first V-Day gifts I bought for Ben and he loved it. If you’re looking for something sentimental but not too over-the-top cheesy this is a perfect choice.
What are some gift idea go-tos that you use for your favorite guy? Are you more of a buyer or DIY-er?
