This outfit is one of my favorite ones that Ben and I have shot together so far. I knew as soon as I styled it that I wanted to take it to the streets of Dunedin, in front of the “blue place with the orange umbrellas” – otherwise known as the Express Cafe. Little did I know there was an event happening that weekend in Dunedin (isn’t there always?), but that didn’t stop us from getting pictures of me spinning around in circles in hopes of nailing the perfect twirl shot. The funny looks were a small price to pay, and most people were happy to walk around and behind Ben rather than behind me.
This tie front tank top has been on literal repeat since I bought it. I’ve styled it for concerts, nights out, and now with this gorgeous blush maxi skirt. I bought two more of these tanks after I ordered my first one because I want to always have it as an option in my closet. Ya know, in case we don’t get around to our laundry days because we’re too busy bingeing on Shameless (#priorities). This tie front tank top is lightweight for the Florida heat, and because its such a basic piece it can be versatile in matching with almost any bottom you put it with. Fashion win!
I fell in love with this blush maxi skirt as soon as I saw it online at Nordstrom. The slit in the front makes the skirt breathable for those hot summer days. My favorite part? The color. It’s so feminine, and delicate, and GAH just so airy and pretty. I’m really feeling the whole bohemian vibe that this skirt gives off with the low hanging tie tassels. I could see pairing it with a chambray shirt in the fall when Florida decides to cool off a teensy bit.
Hope you all had a fabulous Monday! It’s pouring over here in Clearwater (although you wouldn’t guess it from my latest Instagram photo). Stay dry local friends.
