Life has been nonstop lately (honestly, HOW MANY TIMES DO I SAY THIS?), and I can’t tell you how happy I am to see Friday. I’m looking forward to staying on the low this weekend and recouping before our trip to Gatlinburg next Friday. We’ll be spending next weekend with Ben’s family and Mother Nature in good ole Tennessee next week. It’s no Nashville, but I’ll be welcoming the R&R time. We have a big house rented for the whole Brubaker clan. Ben already brought up trying white water rafting – so I know this trip is going to be very different than our normal Tennessee visits. Yay?
Today on Keeping Up with Kahla I’m excited to be collaborating with Diamonds Direct Fine Jewelers located in St. Pete. This will be the first of three posts that you’ll see with them. Diamonds Direct carries a ton of beautiful lines of jewelry including Elizabeth and James, and Simon G. They’re also equipped with their own line of beautiful pieces for the Tampa Bay Area. When I walked around their store figuring out what to style, I couldn’t stop the “ooooh”s and “ahhhh”s. It was sparkly heaven. Don’t be fooled by their name though – Diamonds Direct carries more than just diamonds. From necklaces, to bracelets, and everything in between their pieces will have you flaunting all of the heart eyes.
For this look I opted for my pink high neck swing tank (similar options linked) and flare jeans (similar options linked). Both are great basics in my closet, and I enjoyed switching it up from my usual skinny jeans! Pairing this outfit with some statement jewelry helped dress it up a bit while still keeping the casual vibe. This outfit could easily work for a lunch out with friends, or a quick day date with your boo.
I love this layered Elizabeth and James (E and J) Kahlo double pendant necklace with the high neck of my tank top. It stands alone and adds something extra to what would otherwise be a super simple top. The crescent shapes are just gorgeous and the length sits perfectly. It really gives a polished feel even when you’re basically running around in comfy jeans and a tank. I love fashion illusions like that.
My other favorite piece? This E and J Luna ear crawler. I’ve tried earrings, and ear jackets – but an ear crawler was new territory for me. I’ve seen them on Pinterest, so I was super excited to try this one for the shoot. This ear crawler gives off a perfectly balanced edgy and glam vibe. I didn’t want to take it off!
Both the E and J Bauhaus bar knuckle ring and lucent bracelet are fun toppings on the accessory cake! They’re dainty, and AH just beautiful. Most of my bracelets are open cuff style, so I liked that this one was similar. I’m also a big fan of unique rings and this one looked like it was two rings connected. So pretty!
I loved getting to style these pieces with Diamonds Direct! Any day I get to play with pretty jewelry is a win in my book. Can’t wait to share the rest of the looks we styled. Make sure if you give their store a visit, tell them I sent you!
Have a wonderful weekend guys! What do you have planned?
