Eyeing: I’m just going to leave this here. My Instagram fam knows this mini inflatable pool has been an ongoing saga between my budget-friendly husband and but-I-need-this-for-summer me. One day I’ll have it in our backyard. One day.
Traveling: I’m so excited to be setting sail on another cruise next month. We’re going away for a long weekend on Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas with the company I work for. Nassau, and CocoCay are the ports we’ll be hitting. Did you see my last cruise photo diary? I’m thinking this trip may call for another one. Honestly our travel has slowed down a lot since last year, so this will be a much needed (and much welcomed) break from every day life. Maybe I should be eyeing new swimsuits instead of mini inflatable pools?
Eating: ALL THE SMOOTH AND SOFT THINGS. After my dental surgery last week (which was a little more involved than I thought it was going to be) I’ve been living on easy to chew (and sip) meals. I’m loving smoothies, eggs, soups, Kodiak Cake pancakes, oatmeal, mushroom ravioli, tofurkey, and string cheese.
Listening to: Nelly, Cold War Kids, and Soul Asylum. Can you tell I’m excited for Tampa’s Margarita Festival on Saturday?
Watching: Actually, not a whole lot. Our living room tv broke last week. Ben and I are just kind of rolling with it. We’re spending our time being productive rather than watching three episodes of The Blacklist every night. It’s quite the shift, but I love it. Since I’m not Netflix bingeing, it allows me to get more done – like finally conquering my email inbox and writing this blog post.
Looking forward to: The end of this dental implant journey where I have the smile that I’ve always wanted. LOL. I have a long way to go with this one. It’ll likely be an 8 month – 1 year process. In the short term, I’m looking forward to my hair appointment next weekend. I’m considering some short cuts for summer. Like, above the shoulders short. Stay tuned to see if I actually go through with it. Nervous is an understatement, but I’m in a major mood to change things up.
