This flowy trapeze top from Forever 21 has become a fast favorite of mine. It hits all of my checkboxes: perfect fall color, great length, not to mention it pairs so effortlessly with my black jeggings and brand new taupe booties. When it comes to fallsentials that will be repeated, a girl can’t ask for many more boxes to be checked off.
It’s unfortunate, but truth be told, I rarely buy clothes from the good ole F Two One anymore. It’s purely out of fear that the clothes I buy will only last me one wash and that’ll be the end of it. This top however, was an exception. Upon trying it on, I immediately fell for how flowy it was. And the length. OH, THE LENGTH. It’s long enough to where the difference would be hardly noticeable. Even if it did pull the wash and shrink on me, I wouldn’t bat a Covergirl Lashblast coated eyelash about it.
Ever since the great sell out of the BP Trotts in taupe during this year’s NSale, I have been lusting over any taupe booties I could find that could help fill the void. The grudge I hold is minor, and purchasing these booties from Soda has helped to heal the emotional wound (kind of). I love the buckle detailing and how the heel height is just perfect for a 5’7” gal like myself.
These booties and this top were both purchased in the same shopping trip, so I knew good and well that they would be paired together at some point. Adding my black jeggings into the mix just happened to be the missing piece that I needed to pull everything together .
