Hi, I’m Kahla and I enjoy food, wine, and long walks underneath the Grand Tasting Village tent at Clearwater Beach’s Uncorked. Sound like something you’re into? Then you should totally keep Uncorked on your radar for 2019.
This year’s event did not disappoint. Ben and I had the opportunity to attend Uncorked with the media crew for the second time in a row. To be honest, I had been looking forward to 2018’s event since we left 2017’s. There’s just nothing quite like the experience that is Uncorked on Clearwater Beach. It’s a weekend full of food sampling, wine sampling, all while never leaving the white sand that Clearwater Beach is best known for.
The vendors that came out this year were fantastic – some I recognized as every day household names. White Claw, Campbell’s Yes Well Soups, Jeni’s Ice Cream, Chameleon Cold Brew, President Cheese, and more filled up the space underneath the Grand Tasting Village tent. Some vendors brought out their own photo booths, while others made fun creations with their best known offerings. A perfect example of this was at the Jeni’s Ice Cream stall. They were serving up glasses of their pink frosé sorbet topped off with champagne. Guys, I died over the cuteness and simplicity. I love when vendors go above and beyond to show you how you can creatively incorporate their product into your lifestyle with a fun twist. Jeni’s take on frosé is something that definitely stuck with me from Uncorked. I could even see Ben and I serving those up at a summer house party next year.
After perusing the vendors under the main tasting tent, Ben and I ventured over to the VIP Spirits Lounge. The lounge was located at the Wyndham Grand pool deck. Liquor tents setup around the pool deck were serving up their best cocktail concoctions. Our first stop was the Tito’s Vodka tent (shocker) where I ordered a Tito’s Toast (Tito’s vodka, Texas wildflower honey, fresh lemon juice, and Stella rosa). If I’m being real with you all, what I really wanted to order was one of the Tito’s Christmas sweaters that the reps were wearing.
We walked around the pool deck stopping here and there. Other tents we visited included On the Rocks, and Deep Eddy’s Vodka. On the Rocks had bottles of colorful pre-mixed drinks. They had bar hosted favorites like the Mai Tai, the Margarita, and more. Deep Eddy’s was mixing up drinks with Waterloo Sparkling water (I’m obsessed with the watermelon flavor).

Just when I thought last year’s Uncorked couldn’t be topped – 2018’s event happened and I was obsessed all over again. With so many events happening in St. Pete and Tampa, I feel so lucky that Uncorked is one of Clearwater’s claims to fame.
Until 2019, Uncorked.
